What's in Store?

Opera North, a Leeds based opera company, begins the proceedings with productions of La Traviata, The Coronation of Poppea and the revived production of The Bartered Bride.  A feature by Local Theatre Blogging Community of what's on at Opera North's autumn season can be found here.

National Theatre is featured on the bill with One Man Two Guvnors in November and the Olivier Award Winning The Curious Incident of the Dog in The Night Time next summer.  It's heartening to see some exciting drama productions coming to Leeds including Twelve Angry Men, The King's Speech, Jeeves & Wooster, Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None and The Shawshank Redemption

Not forgetting Northern Ballet's Peter Pan at Christmas and the exciting company is bringing Jean-Christophe Maillot's Les Ballets de Montecarlo Romeo & Juliet on stage next spring.  Of course, there are hit musicals which will attract many musical fans starting with Dirty Dancing in November and followed by Top Hat, 125 year old legendary Leeds Amateur Operatic Society's Hairspray, The Producers, Anything Goes, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sound of Music and the list goes on.

A theatrical feast at the Leeds Grand Theatre awaits us! Please click on the link for more information including dates and ticket information.
